About the project
eSigiliu is the system through which road freight transports are monitored across Romania using smart seals. The platform simultaneously serves two institutions — the Romanian Customs Authority and the General Directorate for Fiscal Anti-Fraud — each with dedicated operational workflows.
The GIS component tracks the real-time position of sealed transports on the map, with automatic alerts on route deviations or seal events. Seal application, monitoring and removal workflows are orchestrated through BPMN processes, with full traceability for every operation.
